Ambitions Adrian's original ambitions have been lost and he merely wants to get back home to drowning his memories

Personal History Adrian was born in the small town of Debuke, Iowa in 2231. Much of his childhood was normal, until his mother, a civilian Intelligence operative for Starfleet Intelligence, was killed on an operation, when he was 10.

From that day, Intelligence has always been involved in his life. From shuffling him and his father, Damien, around the Federation for protection from his mother's enemies, to rescuing him out of some sticky situations when the family was ultimately tracked down.

In July of 2246, months before his 15th birthday, Adrian was invited to be an Admiral's aide at Starfleet Academy. Taking the offer allowed him to begin some of his basic classes (such as the math, science, etc taught to all cadets their first two years) early, enabling him, 3 years later, to start ahead of much of his peers.
Service Record This would prove beneficial, as, despite the influence Intelligence had on his life, Adrian chose to stay very far away from them. Instead originally intending to go Medical instead. Thanks to his two-year advantage on his classmates, Adrian lost no time in getting out into the fleet--and into trouble.

Despite his desire to stay away from intelligence, he was wrangled in when his first assignment, the USS Ark Angel, encountered a spacial anomaly that transported them halfway across the Gamma quadrant. The crew, working with highly classified information stolen from various sources, managed to get home fairly quickly.

By the end of that assignment 4 years later, Adrian was well and truly engulfed in Intelligence, and had been forcibly transferred. Then everything went awry.

Leading up an Intelligence operation in which his team was to infiltrate an enemy ship, Adrian was unprepared for a possible intel leak.

The leak, coming from one of his own men, lead to almost all of them getting killed, and, had Adrian not acted fast, he would have succumbed to his own injuries as well.

After this failure of a mission, Adrian resigned (against the wishes of about every admiral who knew him) to a house on an isolated Federation colony.

In 2264, Adrian was visited by Admiral James Hawkins, essentially forcibly re-activating his commission. He only agreed if he was assigned to Medical instead of intelligence. Hawkins agreed and he was returned to Earth and stationed there for 2 years until he was re-assigned to the USS Defiant in 2266.
